I hesitated whether to buy an SLR camera with video recording feature or maybe i should go for Barbie Video Girl. Thanks to the comparison of Canon 7D vs Barbie that you can see below I finally made up my mind. Despite similar features the Canon camera seems to be slightly better.

One of the things I like about the job of a wedding photojournalist is that sometimes it is very fun too. On one of the recent weddings I had a pleasure to see and listen to a very good cover band. They call themselves Scooby Band and they do rock.  I really enjoyed their performance and most probably will go to see them again. You can see them at the video below.

I just hope he was insured and had more backup cameras. Maybe I should carry spare clothing for every wedding I photograph.

Great example of a photographer’s incompetence. I cannot agree with the judge in his opinion abut equipment. You can be a professional photographer without having a high end camera. After all it is down to photographer and his ability to see things differently.For me good photos are the interesting ones – I mean pictures that bring back the moment captured on them. Professional photographer must know the equipment and do everything possible to capture the moment in best possible technical quality. The woman did not know what an f stop is and that is worrying. The question the judge asked were absolutely basic and any professional photographer should be able to answer them immediately. Thanks to digital revolution we have a lot of people claiming to be professional just because they think they have a good camera.
